How To Use the Range

The purpose of this class is to introduce the badge holder to standard AGC operations, give the badge holder individual instruction in making safe their own firearms per AGC’s rules, and give the badge holder experience with participating in AGC Cease Fires. This is not a firing/shooting course.

About The Event
If you are new to AGC and not sure what to do when you come to the range, this is the class for you. If you have been away from the range for a long time and are just returning and not sure of rule changes and updates, this is the class for you. If you are confiused by the cease fire process and how to manage your firearms at AGC, this class is for you.
During this class you will work one on one with a ceritified Range Safety Officer to get hands on experience with your own firearms and equipment. This is a non shooting class in range use.
At the end of this class you should understand how to:
-Bring your cased firearms to the 100 yard range
-Uncase your firearms safely at the firing line
-Set up non-firearm equipment in preparation for shooting
-Make your firearms safe for a cease fire at AGC
-Follow AGC rules during a cease fire
-Set up and retrieve your targets and target frames
